How often do you mask?
That’s a question I asked on Instagram and was surprised that a few people don’t use a mask at all.
I guess if you have awesome pores or haven’t abused your skin with cheap, bad for you make up in the past maybe you don’t have to.
But for us normal people, it’s always good to pull that build up out of our face!
My mom always had a strict make up and removal regimen – which always included a mask.
As a mom of four, I have a hard time fitting in self care. But at least twice a month I make some time for a good mask.
My three-year-old has dubbed it, “you look crazy mama!”
I love a simple pore squeezing mask like bentonite clay or a Dead Sea mud.
This mud is high in concentrations of salts and minerals – rich in magnesium, sodium, potassium and calcium. This makes it a natural detoxifier and purifier, that absorbs oil, dirt and toxins while removing dead skin cells.
I’ve tried quite a few masks. The thing I loved about the Moody Sisters Dead Sea Mud Mask is how easily it went on. Because it is more than just mud, I don’t have to continually wet it while putting it on. The cocoa butter in it smells wonderful and makes it silky smooth!
I also got to try the Blemish Serum – which seems to be working pretty well on those annoying little zits that pop up out of no where. And I had yet to find a non-drug store mascara that worked for me, I am loving theirs!
